Taaruf 4 · How Do I Offer My Heart?
Questions for getting to know how each of us offers our heart, two or three months into taaruf
Taaruf is the process of getting to know a prospective spouse with marriage in mind. Family or a trusted intermediary is often present.
Two or three months in, these questions look together at how I offer my heart, and whether I can recognize it when a heart comes to me in a way that isn't mine.
Calmly share the five ways a heart passes between people — giving and noticing, words and presence, and one thing you can do today.
How it works
- Cut out the cards, shuffle them, and pick one you can talk about today.
- Answer for yourself first, then share only as much as you're comfortable sharing.
- It's okay to set a hard question aside and come back to it when you're ready.
When · with whom
Good for two people two or three months into taaruf who want to learn, together with the intermediary or family, how each of them expresses their heart.
