Family Question Cards
Family conversation, sitting in a circle and drawing one card at a time
Thirty cards for a family to sit around, draw one at a time, and answer in turn.
They start with questions that open easily, like gratitude and memories, and go on to questions that gently bring out the little hurts you've been holding inside, without wounding anyone.
They were written not to count who did more, but to help you see where each of you has been trying hard.
How it works
- Cut out the cards, place them face down in the middle, and sit around them.
- Take turns drawing one card at a time and reading it out loud.
- While one person is answering, listen all the way to the end.
- It's fine to skip a card that feels too hard.
When · with whom
Cards for two to six people to use together. Suited to an evening after the dinner table is cleared, or days when everyone gathers, like the holidays.
