Passages a Roman emperor wrote to himself
Written by a Roman emperor to himself on the battlefield. It was never a book meant for others to see.
So it reads less like teaching and more like someone steadying themselves in a quiet voice.
The Greek original varies a little between editions, so this sheet carries only the key words in the original language.
How it works
- One passage per sheet — first read the Korean sentence slowly.
- Look at the key Greek words and their explanations, and find the center of the sentence.
- Read the short question, then think of where it touches your life today.
- Copy it by hand on the blank lines, and hold on to the sentence that stays with you today.
When · with whom
Suits opening and closing the day alone. Writing one sheet in the morning works well.
