Curiosity seeds for looking at your body through questions
These cards turn things that happen in your body, like hiccups, yawns, and sweat, into questions.
Copy one onto the Curiosity Quest sheet and you can observe and look things up side by side.
How it works
- Cut out the cards and pick the one question that feels closest to your body today.
- Copy that question onto the Curiosity Quest sheet and think back on what you've already been through yourself.
- Write down separately what you can observe directly on your body and what you'll need to look up.
- In the last space, note what you newly learned about your body in simple words.
When · with whom
Good for children with lots of questions about their body, and also a nice fit when you want to look at your body's signals without being scared of them.
Body curiosity seeds
- Why do hiccups come so suddenly?
- Why do fingernails keep growing, little by little?
- Why does a yawn seem to spread to the person next to you?
- Why does the heart keep beating without ever resting?
- Why do we sweat more when it's hot?
- How does the body keep its balance when standing on one foot?
