Taaruf 3 · This Person’s Ordinary Day
Questions for getting to know each other's ordinary days, two or three months into taaruf
Taaruf is the process of getting to know a prospective spouse with marriage in mind. Family or a trusted intermediary is often present.
Two or three months in, these questions look together at the days you actually lived, rather than the picture painted in words.
Calmly share the everyday things you'll meet living together — mornings and faith, moments of anger, making up, family and money.
How it works
- Cut out the cards, shuffle them, and pick one you can talk about today.
- Answer for yourself first, then share only as much as you're comfortable sharing.
- It's okay to set a hard question aside and come back to it when you're ready.
When · with whom
Good for two people two or three months into taaruf who want to calmly learn each other's real daily life, together with the intermediary or family.
