Interview Between Partners
An interview sheet for hearing again how your partner feels these days and what they hope for
This sheet is for slowly asking about the feelings you tend to skip over because you think you already know them, and answering in your own words.
It isn't about finding right or wrong answers. The heart of it is getting to know each other's hopes and gratitude right now.
We left only lines for writing, so you write exactly what you hear instead of finishing the answer for them.
How it works
- Sit facing each other, and write who's telling the story and today's date on the lines at the top.
- Read the question aloud and listen to the answer all the way through.
- Write it on the lines exactly as you heard it, and once you've finished, share a short thank-you.
When · with whom
This is an activity for a couple sitting face to face. It doesn't need to be a special day. It suits an evening when you want to hear again where each of you is right now.
Interview Between Partners
- What's something on your heart these days that you wish I'd notice?
- When was a recent moment between us that you felt grateful for?
- What's a small promise you'd like to keep together for each other from now on?
