Writing Together About Time
Talking about time, in writing instead of words
This is a conversation shared by taking turns writing, without speaking.
The theme of this sheet is “Time.” It goes from whether it passes quickly or slowly, all the way to what you'd do with one extra hour.
How it works
- Agree not to say anything out loud.
- Start at ① and read in order, then take turns writing one line each in the left and right columns.
- Wait while the other person writes, without hurrying them along.
- Once you've both finished, read it all together from the beginning.
When · with whom
Two people sitting face to face do this. The more a topic tends to raise voices when spoken, the better it fits.
Three questions about "time"
- Are your days going by quickly these days, or slowly?
- Is there something that felt like a waste of your time?
- If the day had one more hour, what would you do with it?
