Writing Together About Money
Money talk that's hard to say out loud
This is a conversation shared by taking turns writing, without speaking.
This sheet is about “money.” It's hard to bring up out loud, which is why sharing it only in writing makes you more honest.
How it works
- Agree not to say anything out loud.
- Start at ① and read in order, then take turns writing one line each in the left and right columns.
- Wait while the other person writes, without hurrying them along.
- Once you've both finished, read it all together from the beginning.
When · with whom
Two people sitting face to face do this. The more a topic tends to raise voices when spoken, the better it fits.
Three questions about "money"
- What can't money buy?
- Is there money you've spent recently that felt well spent?
- How much would be 'enough' for you?
