The Curve of a Year
A page for drawing this year as a single curve
A reflection paper that draws the ups and downs from the first day of this year to today as a single curve.
The same frame as My Life Curve, but the span it measures is one year, not a lifetime.
All that's printed is one horizontal axis, marks at both ends, and one line to ask yourself once you've drawn it.
How it works
- Set the left end of the axis as the first day of this year, and the right end as today.
- Draw the ups and downs as one continuous line, as you remember them. It doesn't have to be neat.
- Next to the peaks and valleys, jot down briefly what was happening then.
- Once it's drawn, write one thing this year has left you on the line below.
When · with whom
Draw it alone, or side by side with someone close as the year winds down.
A place to write on the year's curve
- Once you've finished drawing — how about writing down one thing this year has left you with?
