Feeling words our language doesn't have
These cards gather feeling words that other languages have and ours doesn't.
On each card you'll find, in order, the country and the word, a simple meaning, and a question for you.
The fun of these cards is how a hazy feeling comes into focus the moment it gets a name.
How it works
- Cut out the cards, spread them out, and slowly read the words and their meanings.
- Pick the one that feels closest to your heart today.
- Follow the question at the bottom of the card and talk about today with that word.
- If someone's with you, you can each show the word you picked.
When · with whom
Good for looking into your heart on your own, and also fun in a group, with everyone picking a card and sharing.
