Friend-to-Friend Interview
An interview sheet for slowly asking a friend how things are these days and writing it down
This sheet offers questions so your friend can tell you, in their own words, about the days they've been through lately and how they've been feeling.
You don't judge or correct the answers. You just write them on the lines exactly as you heard them.
We wrote on the sheet that it's fine to skip any question you'd rather not talk about.
How it works
- Sit facing each other, and write the friend who's telling the story and today's date on the lines at the top.
- Read the question aloud and listen to the answer without interrupting.
- Write it on the lines exactly as you heard it, and keep going through to the last question.
When · with whom
This is an activity for two friends sitting face to face. It suits a day when you meet after a long time, or when you want to slowly hear how each other has been.
Friend-to-Friend Interview
- What has been the most memorable moment of your days lately?
- What's something you've done recently that you felt you did well?
- What's a small thing you'd like to try together next time?
